Carol Nelson has been creating and selling art since 1979. She has worked in three dimensional weaving, handmade felt, and most extensively in mixed media. Her home based studio is currently in Macomb, Illinois.
Over 25 years of marketing her art through Midwestern art fairs has yielded Nelson in excess of 100 awards including many Best of Show.
Nelson's artwork appears in private and public collections in the United States and overseas, including the private collections of two past governors of Illinois.
Carol Nelson has a degree in art from Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois.
